So I looked at my journal and noticed that I haven't updated in roughly six or seven months. And since that also happened to be the journal in which I promised some of you artwork that I wasn't working on because I'm a bad procrastinatory person (which I still might try and tackle out of guilt), I figured out with the old, in with the new.

So a lot's happened in the past seven months (obviously), but I won't bore you with the details. Basically, the last half of school was a blur, Winterguard, learning Spanish was evil, distractions, the issues of others blowing up in my face, A-Kon epicness, driving, finals, birthdays, movies, Caturdays, Horror Lit and all its awesomeness (and the design I drew for it, which I should really put up here some time), finally purchasing Phoenix Wright, producing some artwork that I actually like, photographs, hugs, concerts, fleeting loves, confusion, and Asians. There's more, but even I'm starting to grow tired of listening to myself babble. @_@

But whoooo, now sophmore year is over! I will actually miss it quite badly...I had the best line up of classes ever. (okay, maybe physics wasn't my favourite, but my teacher made it worth while!) Next year the AP monsters are going to eat me...I'm already scared shitless about English III AP. And I'm not taking art next year, which really makes me teary. ;_;
But I am excited for Marching Season! GOOOO colourguard!

I could go on an emo-tastic rant about how pissed off I am about how I'm letting myself waste my summer, but I won't subject you to that. I am just slightly frustrated that I have so many friends that I miss and want to get together with, but organising things like that is hard for me, either because of distance or planning issues. And even though today's the first day I'm able to go and take my driving test for my license, I can't because A) my dad won't drive me, B) I suck at driving and I haven't been studying all week like I should have been *kicks self*, and C) I don't know how to fucking parallel park yet. So if any of you could offer advice on the damn driving test, it would be eternally appreciated.

Lastly, I'm just going to briefly squeal about the wonderful day I had yesterday, going out with one of my bestest friends and her boyfriend (well, not yet, but it's quite close to being true [EDIT: It's official! 8D]) that she met at A-Kon. Talk about a fairy tale! It's darling, though, because they're both so cute. x3
And, to make everything even better, this same friend befriended someone in her group while she was visiting Japan, and I think I just *might* have a leeeettle itty-bitty crush on him. Gah. >_<
